KNITTING and CROCHET WITH LEFT-OVER (SOCK) YARNS
Jenny Harber and Lynne Johnson are known for their experimental, unconventional and creative approach to knitting/crochet and wonderful use of colour. They have been experimenting with left over sock yarns in the Knitting Group held at Textile Works each month and are keen to share some of the techniques they’ve come up with.
So come along to the workshop with your left over balls of wool and find out what they’ve been up to. Jenny has been inspired by traditional twill weaving patterns and Lynne has tried out new variations of simple crochet ideas. Produced fabrics can be used to make garments, headgear, rugs etc. This fun and relaxed workshop will suit beginners and intermediate makers.
