This course is suitable for weavers who have completed an Introduction to Weaving course or who have warped and dressed a table loom and woven the basic structures of plain and twill weave. We will examine weave drafts and weave samples to explore several variations of supplementary weft that can be used for cloth, borders or decorative pieces.
Students must bring their own looms as there are none available for hire for this class. If there is a loom available with a second back beam there may be exploration of supplementary warp.
Students will also need to prepare their warp prior to the class, further info will be sent from the tutor upon enrolment.
