Want to take a freestyle approach to your weaving?
This workshop will embrace the inconsistencies, imperfections and irregularities in your weaving style and look to weave through your own interpretation rather than by following a weaving draft (pattern).
We will explore an ‘in the moment’ and ‘expressive’ approach to your hand-woven work to represent or portray your chosen inspiration, whether it be a photo of something that makes you happy or a memory of your favourite place. Participants will create a one-of-a-kind woven cloth which can be used as a wall hanging, a placemat and runner or the material can be used for a future sewing project.
We will warp the Rigid Heddle Loom together within the workshop so your weavings will be all the more UNIQUE!
