Janet will be sharing her skill and love of basket weaving. Come and get an insight into this most interesting weaving technique before our basketry workshop 'Random Weave' (30 June, 1 July) where we can learn to create our own memory vessels from natural materials.

Winter Warmth 2018
Studio sale and open days
18 to 19 May, 10 AM to 4 PM
Our 2018 studio sale and open days will feature handcrafted items by members that are just perfect for Canberra's chilly winters as well as a selection of handspun fibres and hand dyed yarns. Refreshments will be available all day and we are hosting Australia's biggest morning tea on May 18 at 11 AM, all welcome with gold coin donation.

Special Interest Groups
Members may participate in any our special interest group activities. We offer regular weekly drop-in evenings for spinning and regular monthly activity meetings for weaving, rug making, tapestry and knitting groups. There are also activities groups at Yass and Bungendore for our country members.

Melissa is about to launch her weaving business, Nana Glen Farm, based on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. This survey is targeting weaving hobbyists and professionals in their wants and needs for weaving supplies.
