Meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month (February through November) at 2pm. We have occasional guest speakers as well as hearing from our members and sharing news, tips and afternoon tea.

Meetings 2020
Due to the pandemic we have been unable to run our regular members meetings, and these will be on hold until further notice. We have had two online presentations this year, one by Monique van Nieuwland and one by Liz Perry, both of which can be accessed on the Home page.

March 2019 Liz Perry will talk about 'Anni Albers at the Tate Modern', which was a major retrospective exhibition of this artist's work held at the Tate Modern from October 2018 to January 2019.
February 2019 EASS students Katie Martin, Kerry Flanagan and Cat Evans will give a floortalk on their exhibition which will still be in place in Textile Works gallery.

Master Weavers in Florence, Venice and Kyoto
Carol gave us an exceptionally interesting talk and slide show on her visits to master weavers studios:
Antico Setificio Fiorentino, the master weavers of Florence; the workshop of Luigi Bevilacqua, master weavers of velvet in Venice Setificiao; the Kawashima Textile School in Kyoto and the cooperative Association for Kyo-Kanoko Shibori in Kyoto.
