Some of the most beautiful baskets can be made with two-strand twining, the ancient art used all over the world to create everything from strong and durable carriers to fine and intricate patterned weaves.  
In this workshop you’ll learn the basics and make a gorgeous mini twined basket to keep. Absolute beginners and intermediate weavers are welcome. Our focusis on exploration, play and self-expression, not perfection! And if you’ve twined before, it’s a great opportunity to refine your skills.

What you will learn:         
• How to prepare and work with natural fibres
• How to start a basket
• Two-strand twining stitch
• Basic shaping
• Finishing off

All materials for the day are provided, including a beautiful selection of natural fibres that have been foraged and prepared for you.
