We have equipment available for use both at Textile Works and to hire for use at home.
Floor looms
We have four floor looms which can be used by members at no charge. Guidance and help with using these looms is available from other members, as well as through our Weavers Studio and Weave Study group.

Our 16 shaft AVL computer dobby loom lets members experience working on a production loom and creating digitally designed weaves.

It has a dedicated laptop with weaving software, all members have to do is bring their inspiration and some yarn.
Our Berger 8 shaft countermarche loom is great for rug making or those wanting to learn how countermarche looms work.
​



We have two Nilus Leclerc looms, one 4 shaft and one 8 shaft. These looms are excellent for learning how to use a floor loom or for those who don't have space to have a floor loom at home.
At Textile Works
We have a range of tools easily accessible at Textile Works for members to use during drop ins or interest groups. These include drum carders, warping mills and warping boards, yarn swifts and ball winders.

For hire

We also have a range of equipment for members to hire, or those doing workshops. These include:
