Congratulations to Alison Alder!

"I submitted a rug/wallhanging similar to the one I showed at CSW (but different plants) to the Queanbeyan Palerang Council Art Award. I put it in the heritage category (natural heritage of remnant bushland sites) but . . . I took away First Prize!!

Attached is a photo at the awards night, standing with Deputy Mayor Esma Livermore. The work is called Budawang II – I’ve attached a photo of that as well. Although I think I hung it the other way around in the award but it doesn’t actually matter.
