MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS 2021
Membership registrations and payments can now only be made online. Join or renew for 2021 from 1 November 2020. For those who cannot access the web, we will ensure that assistance is available at our rooms to enable your membership. Opening hours when someone is on standby to help are on Tuesdays from 10am to 1.30pm. SATURDAY DROP IN 16 January
Please drop in this Saturday with any project, questions, show and tell, library and equipment borrowing or returns. We welcome any textile-making pursuit such as weaving, tapestry, basketry, spinning, braiding, embroidery, basketry and knitting/crochet. We welcome new members and new makers. Invite a friend to try us out! EASS Awards Exhibition: Last December CSW selected three graduating students for the CSW Emerging Artist Support Scheme Award. Their exciting and challenging work will be shown in an exhibition at the Textile Works Gallery from 15 Feb. Weave Study group: This is also where weavers meet. When: 4 February (the first Thursday every month) starting at 10am at Textile Works Weekly Tuesdays Drop In: Members are also welcome to drop in at Textile Works every Tuesday from 10am. Works by three CSW members - Pam McDougall, Melanie Olde and Liz Perry - have been selected for the international online exhibition "Pushing the limits", arranged by Olivier Masson (France) and Lala de Dios (Spain) of the European Textile Network. Due to the current health situation our members meetings are on hold until further notice.
