For sale: 24 shaft computer dobby loom

This is a 24 shaft Toika EW upgrade to a 120cm Glimakra Standard loom.

The package consists of:

TOIKA UPGRADE: 24 shaft EW control box dating from 2011 using WeavePoint 7.0 software and loom driver. The manuals and disc are included. There are 24 Toika shafts with all Texsolv connections and a sewing machine style pedal. There are 2385 x 318/12 heddles, (just under 100 heddles per shaft).

GLIMAKRA STANDARD LOOM: the loom dates from the mid 1980s and is in good condition. It has 12 shafts and 12 treadles;

120cm weaving width;

sectional back beam;

second non-sectional back beam;

650 x 280/12 Texsolv heddles plus all the Texsolv and tie-up connections

35 warping sticks;

3 reeds - 10dpi; 15dpi; 25/10 (6.5dpi).

Raddle

AVL WARPING WHEEL WITH CROSSMAKER: This makes warping the sectional beam a very easy process, and removes the need for the creel stand and multiple bobbins needed in older methods. Instructions included.

AN EXTRA LONG THREADING HOOK: Very useful for reaching to the back of the 24 shafts!

The loom is currently warped up and weaving in my home near Narooma, NSW so you are welcome to try it out if you would like to. My weaving room is smoke-free and pet-free.

The Toika control box is very heavy and probably fragile so I am not willing to freight this loom - it is pick-up only.
